Early this year, we were asked to design an innovative, experimental and fashion forward garment for the Lenovo Tab Wear collection that focused on me-time. Immersing yourself in me-time, allowing you to prioritize your well-being while doing what you want, when and where you want.
Our design was inspired by metamorphoses in nature, like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon. We wanted to design a garment that feels so comfortable that you don't want to take it off, but that also transforms into something functional and fashionable. At first glance this looks like an ordinary poncho, but when it is inflated it is almost magical: the coat becomes a cozy cocoon. When the coat is transformed into a hammock, the wearer can feel like a butterfly in a cocoon and enjoy me-time in nature. The coat is made from 66 recycled PET bottles, aiming for a low carbon footprint, handmade by certified manufacturers.

The Cocoon Coat is a waterproof poncho with hammock function. The Cocoon Coat is inflatable. By controlling the amount of air in the coat, you adjust the degree of warmth to your liking.
Converts easily into a blanket for around the hammock. In addition, by tightening the elastic bands in the collar, you can turn the poncho into a picnic blanket. Made from 66 recycled PET bottles.
